The Role Of Acupuncture In Assisted Fertility Programs (IVF)

Through her many years of experience as a midwife and as a practitioner of Chinese Medicine Acupuncture, as well as her numerous clinical studies, Toni firmly believes traditional acupuncture to be an effective treatment to complement an assisted conception program.

It is most commonly used with Invitro Fertilisation (IVF). Clinical trials have shown that the use of acupuncture before, during and after an assisted fertility program can significantly increase the rate of success, and prevent the side effect of the drugs used in the process of IVF.

Most IVF centres now provide acupuncture.
